I was a judge for the 2015 Wessex First Lego League (FLL) primary schools finals – this year’s theme was “Trash Tek”. Primary school teams had to research and present to judges a project based on recycling. Teams also built a lego mindstorms robot to compete in the knock-out competition to complete as many FLL Trash Tek challenges as possible. The whole day was a lot of fun, for both the children and the judges! I was genuinely amazed at the robots that had been built, and their inventive solutions to complete the challenges.
